About Me.

Hi I’m Marissa, a 21-year-old fashion enthusiast with a passion for thrifting, tailoring, and giving clothes a second life. I’ve always loved being around people who care deeply about their style, the kind of people who don’t just wear black because it’s trendy, but because it means something. Fashion, to me, has always been more than clothes. It’s identity, creativity, and a way to express who you are without saying a word.

What started as me trying to manage my own chaotic closet turned into something bigger. I hated throwing clothes away. I hated how fast trends moved, and I especially hated seeing alternative fashion turned into something disposable. So instead of constantly buying new things, I started fixing what I already had. I learned how to thrift with intention, tailor pieces to actually fit me, and recycle old clothes into something personal and unique.

Choosing secondhand or recycled clothing isn’t just about finding a cheaper option. It’s about reducing waste, keeping clothes in circulation, pushing back against disposable fashion, and creating a style that actually reflects you. You don’t have to be the most extreme or the most gothic person in the room to participate in that. You just have to wear what feels real to you.
